LOCTITE® 242 is a high strength, medium viscosity methacrylate threadlocker. Versatile and easy to bond to iron (5 minutes), brass (15 minutes), and stainless steel (20 minutes). LOCTITE 242 has thixotropic properties that prevent threadlocker displacement once applied and is designed for fasteners that require normal slippage with standard equipment.
